Ever had your ride photo go missing? It happened to me recently on Expedition Everest.

Our train got delayed pulling into the unloading dock, and by the time we got there, the on-screen photos had already timed out. The screens were showing a completely different ride vehicle — so scanning my MagicBand didn’t work. My photo never linked to my account.

Thankfully, Disney PhotoPass helped me recover it. So if this happens to you, here’s how to get your missing ride photos back: 1. Wait up to 24 hours. Some attraction photos take extra time to appear in your PhotoPass gallery. 2. Double-check your links. Make sure your MagicBand or park ticket is connected to your Disney PhotoPass or My Disney Experience account. 3. Submit a Missing Photo Request through the Disney PhotoPass Help Center. Include the date, time, ride name, and what you were wearing. 4. You can also call PhotoPass support at (407) 560-4300 if you’d rather speak with a Cast Member. 5. Don’t wait too long — photos expire about 45 days after your visit.

The more details you include, the easier it is for the team to locate your photo. They were able to find mine and restore it, which was such a relief.

If your ride photos ever disappear, don’t panic — Disney magic has a way of finding its way back.
