Yacht Club’s exterior maintenance notice is gone

Disney’s resort page now lists only planned Skyliner closures in its refurbishment notice, after BlogMickey reported the exterior work had wrapped up.

A small but welcome change for anyone planning a Yacht Club stay: the exterior-maintenance warning has disappeared from Disney’s official resort page.

What changed

BlogMickey reported on November 6 that the exterior refurbishment had wrapped up and that Disney had removed the notice. We checked the official page too: its refurbishment details now cover the upcoming Disney Skyliner closures, with no exterior-maintenance warning.

The page still has a general refurbishment banner. Opening it shows the Skyliner information, so the banner itself is not evidence that the resort’s exterior work continues.

A transportation detail to keep handy

Disney lists Skyliner closures for January 24–30, 2027, and January 24–February 2, 2028. Complimentary bus service will be available during both periods.

This update concerns Yacht Club. BlogMickey reports that exterior work continues next door at Beach Club. Check the current notice for the hotel you are booking rather than assuming both resorts have the same schedule.
