Disney says the Magic Kingdom attraction closed November 2 for routine refurbishment, with a return expected in December.

If Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was on your November Magic Kingdom list, this is one to check before your park day. Disney has temporarily closed the attraction for routine refurbishment.

What Disney has confirmed

The closure began November 2, 2026. Disney’s official attraction page says reopening is expected in December 2026, but does not give an exact day. That makes December an expected return window, rather than a confirmed reopening date.

Keep the return date flexible

For now, leave the bayou boat ride out of your November plans. If you are visiting in December, check the attraction’s official page and My Disney Experience again before building your day around it. The general attraction description still appears online while the closure notice is in effect.
