A closer look at Remy’s new show sets

Imagineering’s latest behind-the-scenes video explores the physical details added around Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

A giant charcuterie board is getting its moment in the spotlight. BlogMickey reports that a new Walt Disney Imagineering video takes viewers behind the scenes of the recent set additions at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT.

Small details, enormous props

The report describes a new queue vent, spilled linguini and a dining-cart bumper bar that hides the edge of a screen. Some pieces also conceal speakers, helping the practical scenery and sound work together.

The finale’s charcuterie board measures 25 feet long. According to the report, it was brought through the building along the ride-vehicle route and installed over two nights without closing the attraction.

Look closer on your next ride

These are details of the recent set work, not the announcement of a new ride. The original Imagineering video is the place to see the pieces and hear the design team explain them.
