Planning a Christmas Party night when the weather changes

The party generally continues in bad weather, with attraction status and evening guidance available in the app and from Cast Members.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’s weather guidance is worth reading before heading to Magic Kingdom. WDWMagic’s November 4 report says the party continues in most bad weather. Individual attractions or shows may pause or change even while the event continues.

Keep checking during the evening

The My Disney Experience app and Cast Members provide status information. The reported guidance says treat locations remain available, even when weather affects other parts of the night.

Understand the ticket terms

Disney’s standard ticket terms describe event tickets as nonrefundable and nontransferable. The reported party guide does not promise rain checks, refunds or exchanges. These are not newly announced ticket terms, and the guidance does not establish that Disney can never offer discretionary assistance.
