Teeth, horns and a first uncovered facade in Monstropolis

WDWNT’s October 27 photographs reveal monster-themed details on the restroom building beside Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza. It is a construction update, not an opening announcement.

The monsters are starting to show themselves in the architecture. WDWNT’s new photographs from Disney’s Hollywood Studios reveal an uncovered restroom facade beside Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, with teeth and horns worked into the building’s details.

The small details doing the work

In WDWNT’s October 27 photo report, the building combines brick and industrial-looking trim with monster-shaped flourishes around the windows and roofline. Blue, cream and brown shingles add another layer to the makeover.

It is a useful first look at how the setting is taking shape beyond construction walls. Follow the original report below for the current photographs; our accompanying park photo is archival context, not a picture of this work.

Progress, not a promise of an opening

These are WDWNT’s on-site observations, not our own visit or a separate Disney announcement. The photographs establish what was visible when the report was made; they do not establish the exact moment the facade was uncovered.

Nor does a finished-looking section of one building mean the land is ready for guests. This update is about visible exterior details, not an opening date for Monstropolis or its attractions.
