Save Little Mermaid for earlier on November 5

Under the Sea is scheduled to close at 7 p.m. Eastern on November 5, three hours before Magic Kingdom closes.

If Under the Sea is one of your last-ride-of-the-night choices, move it up the list for Thursday, November 5. Disney’s calendar currently gives the Little Mermaid ride an earlier finish than the rest of Magic Kingdom.

The ride closes at 7 p.m.; the park stays open until 10

For November 5, 2026, Disney lists Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern, with Early Entry from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Magic Kingdom’s regular hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. That leaves a three-hour gap at the end of the evening.

The 7 p.m. ride closing is 8 p.m. in Aruba. By then Florida has returned to Eastern Standard Time, while Aruba stays on Atlantic Standard Time.

An early closing—not an announced refurbishment

Disney has not given a reason on the attraction page. This is a scheduled early closing for one date, not confirmation of a longer refurbishment or a permanent change.

The practical adjustment is simple: ride earlier if it matters to your visit, and check My Disney Experience again on the day. Published operating hours can change.
