Kidani’s refurbishment reaches early-December stays
Disney lists work through late 2026; DVCNews reports guest notices covering Community Hall and the Palace Library.
If you have an early-December stay at Kidani Village, check the notice attached to your reservation. The latest report brings a practical update for holiday guests, beyond the already extended lobby-work timeline.
What Disney confirms
Disney’s Kidani Village resort notice says refurbishment of the lobby and nearby areas is expected to continue through late 2026. There is no exact reopening day. November 6 was a previously reported target, rather than a current promise.
What early-December guests are being told
DVCNews’s October 27 report describes notices telling early-December guests that Community Hall and the Palace Library will be unavailable during their visit. These details are attributed to DVCNews; the original guest letter was not available for independent inspection.
The report says alternate recreation will be offered at Simba’s Clubhouse in Jambo House, with transportation between Kidani Village and Jambo House.
A useful planning check
The general extension was reported earlier in October. The fresh point is its impact on early-December amenities. If either space matters to your plans, check your own guest notice and the resort’s current guidance nearer arrival.
