Gertie’s Santa hat and Echo Lake’s Christmas tree are back
Gertie has her holiday hat and a red ornament, and the big Christmas tree is now installed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Echo Lake has two more familiar holiday sights. WDWNT’s November 5 report shows Gertie wearing her Santa hat, with a red ornament dangling from her mouth, and the large Christmas tree installed on its island.
A festive change around the lake
The tree is dressed with colorful ornaments, gold garlands and a star on top. Its arrival, along with Gertie’s holiday makeover, adds to the floating ornaments that appeared earlier in the week.
If you are heading to Hollywood Studios soon, Echo Lake is worth a stop for a holiday photo. We have not verified a nightly tree-lighting time, so check the park’s current information before planning around a ceremony.
