The Contemporary’s splash pad is back in use

WDWNT’s October 26 photo report shows the splash pad operating again after repainting, with a blue-and-dark-gray surface.

A small but welcome update for families staying at the Contemporary: the splash pad has been reported back in use after its maintenance closure.

What the new photographs show

WDWNT’s October 26 report includes photographs with water running again and a repainted blue-and-dark-gray surface, replacing the previous gold-colored finish. The original photographs are linked below so you can see the change directly.

The report establishes that the splash pad was operating when observed; it does not establish the exact reopening time. This is WDWNT’s on-site observation, not a separate reopening announcement from Disney.

Useful for a resort afternoon

For families already staying at the resort, that is one more option for a break between park visits. It is an update about this splash pad—not an announcement that the resort’s whole pool area has reopened.

As with any outdoor amenity, availability can change. Check with the resort during your stay rather than relying on an earlier photograph as a guarantee.
